Sasha the Fierce Bear Merino Wool Hiker Crew
Whether “getting outside” to you means strolling through nature or taking on your 10th peak, the right socks make all the difference.
Soft, light Merino wool gives you a leg up with silky fibers that help resist blisters and wick moisture. It’s breathable yet insulating and has natural anti-odor properties.
We surveyed women to design a technical sock that would support you at every step.
- Targeted cushioning under the heel and toe for those extra-long hikes.
- Compression zones around the arch, ankle, and leg offer support and help the sock stay in place.
- Mesh panels add extra breathability for hot days on the trail.

I love these socks for so many reasons, but the fact that I can put them through the paces and they hold up is number one. I also really love supporting small businesses. These socks feel like a dream on your feet hiking. They are cushioned enough without feeling too bulky and they are soft. Finally, as a female who has huge feet and always has to buy men’s socks I LOVE being able to buy socks in colors I enjoy that still fit my feet. Win/win all around.
I love these so much. I'd never had merino wool hiking socks until trying these and, I've got to say, I am never going back! I can't believe I've just been wearing cotton all this time. They felt great, kept my feet happy and cool, and had no smell after wearing them all day and on a 2k elevation gain hike. I'm pumped and will be getting a bunch more. Thanks toughcutie! Oh, also, they stretch (thank goodness) and I was able to pull them up over my ankles to protect my shins when going through the brush since I was wearing leggings that ended at my calf. Love em!

I appreciate so many things about these. (The natural fiber content, their durability and comfort, the fact that they're made in the USA...I could go on.) However, the biggest thing I love about them is the inclusive sizing. It is so hard to find women's socks meant for feet that are larger than a 9.5, and the women in my family all range in size from 11-12. So, for the most part, we've had to either deal with women's socks that wiggle down your foot as you walk or get holes in the toes after a few wearings OR buy drab-colored men's socks that are meant for a wider foot.
Great socks! Well fitting, warm... hoping to be blister-free!
